Pittwater Motor Enthusiasts Association

So Harold and I went off to join the Pittwater Motoring Enthusiasts Association(PMEA) on the 17th October. We needed to join as Harold is going to have to change over the historic plates under the newish classic car rules. The cost of the green slip is a bit extreme for full registration.

I didn’t really think about the crowd that would be there but not only was I the only female in the room of about 70 people I was probably the youngest as well. It’s been a while since I have been that much of a minority. But everyone was very friendly and welcoming. I’m looking forward to going on some drives with them. I wasn’t a minority though by being a mini owner. It certainly is an enthusiasts club with a very very large range of different cars.
